Kanji: 山下智久 (Ahh, he’s got the easiest name in terms of the number of strokes)

Nicknames: Yamashita-kun, Yamapi (Yamashita + pink also stylised as ‘YamaP’; most well known nickname, was given to him by Takizawa Hideaki and co. because he was often put into pink costumes!), Pi-san (by Tegoshi and the cast of Code Blue), Pi-chan, Pi (by those really close to him like KAT-TUN’s Akanishi Jin), Pi-tan (by Nagasawa Masami from ProDai), Pi-kun, Tomo-kun, Tomo-chan (Arashi’s Ninomiya Kazunari uses this a number of times)

Place of Birth: Chiba Prefecture, Japan (He, Arashi’s Aiba Masaki and KAT-TUN’s Tanaka Koki are Chiba buddies~)

Left or Right? Predominately right-handed, but does some things with his left e.g. holding his chopsticks (would that make him ambidextrous?)

Trivia:

- He’s real name is Aoki Tomohisa, but his father left the family when he was young, so he took on he’s mother’s maiden name.

- Also on the subject of names, he could have potentially been named Yuuta, Yuuya or Yuusuke, but his parents settled on Tomohisa. Tegoshi remarked during one of the Winter Diamond party concerts that it would have been a duplicate of his name!

- Like Massu, you can easily associate Pi-chan with food. If there’s food around, he’ll definitely be there.

- Often enjoys speed-drinking ‘Wieder in Jelly’. He’s even done ads for them.

- His trademark is his two cups with 山P written on them. Heck he’s done it in every PV since ‘Hoshi wo Mezashite’, take a look.
