Family: Mother and Father and older sister and nephew (he’s got a cool mother)

Chinese Zodiac: Mouse/Rat (Somehow I think it suit him)

Height: 177cm (tallest member of NEWS)

Weight: 60kg

Education: high school, Meiji University graduate in Asian History? Or was it literature? (Poor guy was forced to ring his professor during a NEWS concert to find out if he passed)

Signature colour: PURPLE, (same as Arashi’s Matsumoto Jun and KAT-TUN’s Nakamaru Yuichi. But his original colour was orange [see below picture])

- Seen mostly as the mother figure of the group

- He’ll do anything you ask of him when he’s feeling weak (his sister put makeup on him and took photos to send off to Johnny’s!)

- He’ll believe anything too.

- His family owns a ramen store (he helps out when NEWS isn’t doing anything and Tegoshi has eaten there before!)

- Is a great speaker, currently co-hosting The Shounen Club together with Nakamaru

- Joined Johnny’s considerably late (he joined when he was 17, compared to most who join at around 10-15 years old)

- Was Troy Bolton (or whatever his name is) in the Japanese version of ‘High School Musical’ stage show (where he had his first kiss on stage with Nami Tamaki)

- Jokingly sometimes acts as the leader of NEWS (Yamapi is the true leader)

- Is deathly afraid of heights and roller coasters

- Has fanboy-ed Yamapi A LOT

- Is often teased about his single eyelid (mostly by Nishikido)

- Spoils his nephew by buying clothes and toys for him
